Pick-Up

Tuesday was one of those days when the temperature hovers around freezing and the gentle snow is heavy and wet enough to pack on the roads with normal traffic in the Industrial Park. It was rutted and slippery and the movement of vehicles was slow. Toward the end of the day, I took a quick walk through the production floor and noticed that the large trolley that hold the many boxes for the UPS shipment pick-up was very light.

When I asked our Production Manager, he just smiled and reported that the UPS truck was having a rough time getting around, so he made an early afternoon stop so he could get some weight in the back of his truck to help with traction. Yes, Dalton is most dependable when it comes to regular and sizeable shipments.

While on this point, I would like to point out the care that we take with shipping our heaters. All Dalton Electric heaters are sealed in a plastic bag with a desiccant which keeps moisture away from the heater cartridges. We have invested in a foam-in-bag machine which provides a soft, but firm nest for the product and damage by any shipper has been completely eliminated. We go the extra mile at Dalton so our heater will go the extra mile for you.
