Another Split-Sheath?

I've heard that there is some company in Brazil that is making a split-sheath cartridge heater, but I have seen little evidence of it. Now, however, there is another manufacturer that claims to make a Watt-Flex® style cartridge heater. The company is Heatco and they are located in India.

When I peruse their website, I have to admit that their graphic depiction of a split-sheath heater tells me that they really know how to make one. The only trouble is that their graphics are directly lifted from our website:

What does that tell me? Maybe they don't have a digital camera. But more probably, they don't have any product that they can take a picture of. A split-sheath heater takes a bit of a capital expenditure for production equipment and one heck of a lot of know-how. I am reminded of the T.V. ad that I saw the other day ... the big store was intent on driving the small barber shop across the street out of business. They put up a sign that read "HAIRCUTS - $6". The next day the small barbershop put up their own sign: "$6 HAIRCUTS FIXED HERE". As an effective distributor, you shouldn't let your customer make the mistake in the first place !!!

Friday Funnies

My friend's husband is always telling her that housekeeping would be a snap if only she would organize her time better. Recently he had a chance to put his theory into practice while his wife was away.

When I popped in one evening to see how he was managing, he crowed, "I made a cake and frosted it; washed the kitchen windows; cleaned all the cupboards; scrubbed the kitchen floor, walls, and ceiling; and even had a bath."

I was about to concede that perhaps he was a better manager than his wife, when he added sheepishly, "When I was making the chocolate frosting, I forgot to turn off the mixer before taking the beaters out of the bowl, so I had to do all the rest."
