Another Citizen

Our ninth new U.S. citizen in the last two year was cause for celebration. Albana Meta was recently granted citizenship and, in fitting fashion, we had a Pizza Party. During the preliminary announcement of her success, Albana stepped forward and addressed the Dalton Electric assembly, rebutting the suggestion that was her dream to become a citizen. She confidently stated that it is everyone's dream who is not a citizen to become one.

Albana spoke about the value of citizenship to her life and affirmed that every person that knows America wishes they could share in that dream, too. Albana is originally from Albania and joined Dalton Electric in May of 2006. She has recently trained in coil winding and is a valuable part of the heater assembly team. After the pizza party she was presented with an American Flag Cake, honoring her huge accomplishment.
