New Foreman     

Steve Lohnes, twenty-one year employee with Dalton Electric, has served as the Production Foreman and Working Supervisor for six years. At the end of April our Production Manager will be retiring and Steve will be assuming that well-deserved responsibility.

After an extensive search, we have hired Jim Stevens to move into the Foreman position on the production floor at Dalton Electric. We were excited to find an individual with Supervisory and Operations experience in both distribution and manufacturing. Much of his experience is applicable to operations at Dalton and he will be spending the next two months making heaters and learning all phases of our manufacturing process.

Jim is the father of two daughters and, at a very young age, has two grand- daughters. His most recent employment was at a wood products company, where his wife serves as office Manager. We look forward to his contributions to manufacturing for years to come.

Friday Funnies

A man takes his Rottweiler to the vet and says, "My dog's cross-eyed, is
there any thing you can do for him?"

"Well," says the vet, "let's have a look at him." So he picks the dog up and
examines his eyes, then checks his teeth. Finally, he says, "I'm going to have
to put him down."

"What? Because he's cross-eyed?"

"No, because he's really heavy."
