We enjoyed three days of torrential rain and the Ipswich pulled a repeat of the flood of 2006, over-running its banks and filling basements with relentless water. As you can see below, there is virtually no definition to the river, save a line of normally bank-side trees. Ken Roberge spent two hours one morning trying to find a route to Ipswich that was not closed. Rivers over-ran asphault and left two feet or more of water on back roads to town.

Fortunately, Dalton Electric Heating is back away from the river and suffered no delays in production.
Friday Funnies A lawyer and an engineer were fishing in the Caribbean. The lawyer said, "I'm here because my house burned down, and everything I owned was destroyed by the fire. The insurance company paid for everything." That's quite a coincidence," said the engineer. "I'm here because my house and all my belongings were destroyed by a flood, and my insurance company also paid for everything." The lawyer thought for a moment, but was puzzled. Finally he asked the engineer, "How do you start a flood?"
