Longhorns and Electric Girdles

Nowadays it seems like we all use the internet search engines like Google and Yahoo as our own personal dictionary, encyclopedia, and source for product information.

We try to make sure that engineers looking for heating products can find our website quickly in the search engines. Looking at our own web visitor logs, we are glad to see that engineers who Google search phrases like "cartridge heater " or "fitting an immersion heater" and "heating metal" end up at the Dalton Electric website.

However we also notice people find our website on strange, and amusing search terms, many of which appear because of this TGID newsletter. For example, we rank #4 on Google results for the search phrase, "Texas Longhorn cattle ranches," #8 on Yahoo for "post card secrets", and perhaps the strangest of all, a #1 ranking on Yahoo for "electric girdles." We somehow don't think cartridge heaters will figure into that heating application.
