Newest Addition to the Team

Doug Doane is Dalton Electric's newest Regional Manager, assuming responsibility for the Southeast, Mountain States and West Regions. Replacing the recently departed Dave Fanning, Doug brings solid technical and sales skills from both OEM and distributor/dealer employment in the Machine Tool industry.

Doug spent the week undergoing our most intensive training ... making heaters. He is now familiar with all aspects of our manufacturing and is busy learning the structure of his Regions and many customers and distributors. He looks forward to getting on the road to meet the host of characters that he hears about at Dalton.

Doug is a New Hampshire resident and is married 26 years to Julie who works in a doctor's office. They have a son Jon who attends Plymouth State in N.H. Doug is a graduate of Clarkson University in New York, having received a B.S. in Business Adm with a concentration in Industrial Marketing. He is an avid runner occasionally competing in local races. We look forward to getting him on the road for Dalton !!!

Friday Funnies

A little girl was talking with her teacher about whales. The teacher told her that it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human being because, even though it was a very large mammal, its throat was very small. The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by the whale. Irritated, the teacher reiterated the whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible.

The little girl said, "When I get to heaven, I will ask Jonah."

The teacher asked, "What happens if Jonah went to the other place?"

The little girl replied, "Then you can ask him!"
