Dedication and Commitment

Dalton Electric Heating Co. celebrated two life milestones.

The first is our tenth new citizen, Shpetim (Tim) Hoxha. Tim is the newest of a group of U.S. citizens from Albania. He has been with Dalton for about 2-1/2 years and works in the Swaging Department.

And the other celebrant is Kevin Pierce, 20 years employed with Dalton Electric.Kevin joins a select group of 20+er's who have enjoyed celebrations over the past few years. Kevin is a longtime Ipswich, MA resident and works in General Production.

The luncheon included a complete Chinese meal and celebration cakes for each of these achievements. As is tradition, Kevin received a large wall clock for his home with a plaque announcing his 20 years of service.

Friday Funnies

The new pastor was visiting his parishioners. At one house it seemed obvious that someone was home, but no answer came to his repeated knocks at the door. He took out a card, wrote "Revelation 3:20" on the back and stuck it in the door, and left. (Revelation 3:20 is: "Behold, I stand at the door and knock.")

That following Sunday, when the offerings were processed, he found that his card had been returned. Added to it was this cryptic message, "Genesis 3:10." Reaching for his Bible to check out the citation, he found the Genesis 3:10 reads: "I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid for I was naked."
