What is it that sets one manufactured product apart from another?

If you take a look at the two products, they may appear to be the same. But one lasts longer, out-performs the other or might simply be easier to buy (keeping the first two in mind). Generally, it all comes down to the little things.

At Dalton Electric those little things make a world of difference in the life and performance of Watt-Flex® cartridge heaters... little things like a couple of quick spot welds to insure continuity between the wound resistance coil and the terminal pins for the life of the heater... or the manufacturing of our own dies to insure consistent compaction of the MgO insulation in the heater.

Rather than using nickel plated copper lead wire, we use Grade "A" nickel leads which provide much greater strength and resistance to flexing and breaking. And at the end, 100% Quality checks ... not just all of the electrical check, but our Quality people make sure the heater looks great and is free of scratches.
