A Quick Phone Call...

Sometimes a phone call comes that simply brightens the day ... no, I don't just mean a big order. I mean a confirmation that what you do makes a difference.

I got that call the other day from a mold builder in the Midwest. After the initial niceties, he told me that he was visiting a big customer and they wanted to duplicate a mold that they had just received ... it had our Watt-Flex® cartridge heaters in it.

When the discussion came around to the heaters, the customer told the mold builder that he could use any split heaters. But the mold builder proceeded to explain why it was important to use Watt-Flex. He had run his own tests in his mold shop and told me that he was amazed at how much longer our heater lived as compared to the alternative split heaters.

He finished his explanation to the customer with the wisdom of the importance of reducing his cost of heating rather than worrying about the price of the heater. The application is a metal casting mold and I hung up knowing that the customer has the right mold builder on his side. Sometimes a phone call comes that simply brightens the day!
