Dalton Diff-Therm heaters are built with high-purity magnesium oxide, nickel chromium resistance wire, and stainless steel internal components. Special filling methods and equipment compact the magnesium oxide tightly inside and around the resistor helix which is then swaged under 50 tons of pressure to its maximum possible density. The result is very high dielectric strength and efficient internal heat generation. Diff-Therm castings are machined to a smooth, flat finish to ensure efficient and uniform heat conduction into the boiler plate assembly for steady vaporization of the pump fluid.
